A client once told me their WordPress site felt like “walking on eggshells.”

Every content update was stressful. One wrong click could break the layout. They’d spend an hour doing what should take 3 minutes.

This isn’t a WordPress problem specifically, it’s a structure problem.

When systems are thrown together without clarity and intention, they become fragile. Editors lose confidence, updates feel risky. The technology starts working against the people using it.

The fix isn’t necessarily in switching platforms. It’s in designing systems that support the people relying on them, and getting them right in the first place.

That’s what I think about when I build.

Certainly starting with a solid platform helps you keep a solid and consistent structure anyway, so it’s worth you thinking about it too.
